Implementing Ngo: Women’s Forum Elbasan
Yesterday we visited the shelter of the “Elbasan Women’s Forum”, to meet the director, part of the staff and some of the women beneficiaries of the funds collected thanks to your donations to Smile.al for the project “Support for abused women and children” in areas of the district of Elbasan.
In the conditions of an insecure situation immediately after the divorce for these mothers and their children, through this initiative support was achieved, providing a financial package to cover at least a period of one month (rent, energy/water payment, food, clothing, medications).
Expressing our deep gratitude to all of you for making these difficult situations a little easier, we wish from the bottom of our hearts that this will be a new beginning as good as possible for every woman in such circumstances.
The rights, the values and the integration of women in the Albanian society remain the focus of our initiatives.
