One of the projects supported by public donations on the first crowdfunding platform Smile.al is “Women and the Green Economy”. The aim is to employ a group of women from the Manza region in agriculture, in order to create their own business and provide income for financial independence.
The Manza women’s group is the first social cooperative model to be consolidated with the perennial plant ROSEMARY OFFICINALIS, a product which, since the beginning of the process, has influenced the improvement of their economic income, as there is demand for this product on the national and foreign markets.
This useful project for integrating these women into active society has led to the creation of a sustainable social enterprise, with a surface area occupied by 100% of the number of plants.
Other objectives of the women’s group are oil production based on the four-fold increase in market demand reported a year ago.
