In our fragile and uncertain world, there is a light that never ceases to illuminate the path to knowledge and imagination. This light is the library for the visually impaired, a collective memory of knowledge, an oasis of words that makes us feel rich in consciousness and mind.

The title “Visually Impaired, Yet Eager To Read” speaks of a shared passion: the desire of the visually impaired to explore the world through the pages of books, and our desire to help kindle and nurture this passion. For over two decades, the library has shared knowledge through audio books with more than 3000 visually impaired individuals every year. However, financial challenges have made the journey tougher. From 2014 until now, we have relied on your assistance, making each donation a source of light that aids in sustaining this flame of knowledge. In this call for help, we invite you to become part of our story.

Through your contribution, we enable the reading of books for those of us who cannot see, yet possess an unquenchable thirst to expand the horizons of knowledge.
